Wedding Ceremony Song Selection Guide

Choosing Music for Your Wedding Ceremony may be a bit confusing at the beginning.

The following is an outline of a Wedding Ceremony  explaining where music is typically placed.

Musical Prelude - 15 minutes of music while your guests are being seated before ceremony begins.  May be instrumental or vocal.  Contemporary or Classical, depending upon the atmosphere that you want to create.

Entrance of the Mothers of the Bride and Groom - Usually a short PIece of musci either contemporary or classical that may be a favorite of the parent or may reflect the passing of time.  An example may be Evergreen, sunrise Sunset, You light Up My Life, Through the Years, My Prayer etc....

Pridal Party Prcessional - This is usually a classic or contemporary piece. Some brides select Pachabel's Canon in D, or Theme from Ice Castles.

Brides Processional - Bridal Chorus is the Traditional  Wedding  March.   This may be played on an organ or a piano.  Piano and Flute work lovely with this piece and gives a nice romantic feeling to your  wedding.   If you use an  Organ Sound you really get a traditional grand entrance effect for the bride.

Music Between Readings

Music Before vows

Music after exchange of rings

Music during lighting of the unity candle

Music Recessional - The Wedding march is usually the traditional music which is played as the bride, groom and bridal party exit.  Anther choice would be Vivaldi's Four Season's which sounds wonderful on Piano and flute..
