If possible, have the music in a separate part of the yard or house without toys for distractions.  For outdoor parties the most comfortable temperatures are 70-85 degrees.  If it is warmer than that, even in the shade the children get hot and cranky and want to go inside for air conditioning and drinks 15 minutes into the segment. 

What We Need:

• Electricity for the CD player and possibly an amplifier
• A space where the children can sit on the floor or ground
• If outside you may want to put a large blanket or carpet on the grass
• Some strong people to help carry the instruments to and from the car
• A 2x5 foot area to set up instruments and CD player
• Lots of children!!!
